Steve Rumsey

Steve started Rumsey Construction and serves the company as Chairman. Steve is responsible for the company’s financial guidance, sales, client retention, estimating and project management. He has more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry while focusing in underground utility work. Steve works with general contractors, developers and city staff for the company.

Gary is Chief Operating Officer at Rumsey Construction. Gary leads the company with his experience and guidance with his project management, estimating, and scheduling abilities. Gary is instrumental in managing the company’s resources and goals. Gary has more than 25 years of experience in excavation, utilities, and concrete work. Gary is a true problem solver and pre- construction specialist and continually stays on top of city requirements and manufacturer’s specifications.

Joe is the Chief Financial Officer for Rumsey Construction. He has been in construction and the real estate market for over 31 years. Joe graduated from Southern Methodist University. He is licensed by the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy and is a member of the AICPA.

Corey Caughron

Corey is our Lead Estimator and assists in the operations through project management of specific projects. Corey has more than 14 years of combined experience in civil design and underground utility construction. Corey’s experience in civil design allows him to have a different perspective on projects allowing him to recognize cost savings and increased cost avoidance during the bidding and construction process. Corey has completed projects ranging from $60K to $20M in public and private utility construction throughout Texas.
